Kawasaki has introduced the 2026 Z650RS in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 7.83 lakh. The motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged but now complies with E20 fuel norms and receives a new colour option.

2026 Kawasaki Z650RS Launched in India at Rs 7.83 lakh
Kawasaki has launched the 2026 Z650RS in the Indian market at Rs 7.83 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated model is priced Rs 14,000 higher than the outgoing version. While there are no mechanical revisions, the engine has been updated to meet E20 fuel compliance requirements.

What’s new in the 2026 Z650RS
The key update for the 2026 model year is E20 compatibility. Apart from this, the motorcycle gets a new paint scheme. The earlier black-and-gold colour has been replaced by a metallic blue and gold combination. Other design elements and graphics remain unchanged.
2026 Kawasaki Z650RS: Engine and performance
The Z650RS continues to use the same 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that puts out 67bhp at 8,000 rpm and 62.1 Nm of torque at 6,700 rpm paired with a six-speed gearbox and a wet multi-plate clutch. Compared to the previous model, peak torque is lower by 1.9 Nm.
2026 Kawasaki Z650RS: Chassis, suspension and braking
The motorcycle is built on a tubular diamond frame made from high-tensile steel. Suspension duties are handled by a 41 mm telescopic fork at the front and a horizontal back-link rear suspension. Braking hardware includes dual 300 mm front discs and a 220 mm rear disc.
2026 Kawasaki Z650RS: Dimensions and weight
The Z650RS has a wheelbase of 1,405 mm and a seat height of 800 mm. Ground clearance stands at 125 mm. Fuel tank capacity is 12 litres. The motorcycle has a kerb weight of 192 kg.
